Quantum technologies promise transformational applications in the life sciences, from accelerated drug development, to improved personalised medicine, and better green energy technologies. In this presentation I will provide an overview of research efforts within the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence in Quantum Biotechnology (QUBIC). QUBIC is a national Centre focussed on developing quantum sensing, imaging and computing technologies for the life sciences, and on using them to drive real world impact. The Centre has three research themes, spanning applications across all biological size scales from single molecules to cells and the brain.
