Chilas Lasers

Big news from Chilas! They’ve been busy upgrading their lineup of narrow-linewidth, widely tunable lasers — and they can’t wait to showcase them for the first time at Photonics West 2025, where they are exhibiting under the NL Pavilion. A couple of weeks ago, they introduced the new Chilas COMET, a Swept Source laser, perfectly suited for a large range of sensing applications like structural health monitoring using Fiber Bragg gratings, molecular detection using ring resonators, and LiDAR remote sensing. Now, they are bringing the COMET together with the rest of their upgraded laser family to Photonics West 2025 for their grand debut: Chilas POLARIS — A frequency-stabilized laser with selectable ITU channels for precise control and excellent long-term stability and Chilas ATLAS — A versatile wavelength-tunable laser, available at 685 nm, 850 nm, 1550 nm, 1600 nm, and 1700 nm. All ATLAS modules come with broad tuning range, high resolution and narrow linewidth.
