Spectral Engines GmbH, a subsidiary of Nynomic AG (M7U: Xetra), presents a scanner for rapid measuring and identifying liquids using near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS). The easy-to-use scanner offers safe operation and can be deployed both inside and outside laboratories. Thanks to the short analysis times, the scanner provides immediate information about the type and quality of the sample. It thus supports initial identification in incoming goods, production and process control, counterfeit detection, improved product conformity and supply chain security. The company has a long tradition in the development of digital material recognition solutions, which are already successfully used by the pharma industry to quickly verify the authenticity of pharmaceuticals. Due to its high accuracy and flexibility, near-infrared spectroscopy is often used to identify materials based on their chemical fingerprint (spectrum). The company brings to this solution its extensive expertise in the identification of solids based on the miniaturized spectral sensor developed in-house. The new product can be used both cloud-based via app and offline, depending on the customer's application requirements. In the case of online applications, there is the Spectral Engines Scanner Platform: a globally accessible reference database for on-site testing. It is a turnkey solution that enables the rapid development of new innovative liquid detection applications, that offers complete instrumentation, communication methods, a cloud platform, the creation of a reference library and the implementation of algorithms.
