The 1550UA Series PLDs Offer High-Precision At Low-Cost
High-Power / High-Volume Pulsed Laser Diodes at 1550 nm:
The 1550UA Series is a new addition to the existing line of high-quality and affordable high-volume Pulsed Laser Diodes (PLDs) from LASER COMPONENTS Canada. This is in addition to the 905UA Series but now at a higher wavelength. The 1550UA Series offers a hermetically sealed metal housing featuring optimal thermal stability, excellent overdrive capabilities, and precise chip alignment. System integrators can take advantage of high-volume production without reducing the reliability of a system.
Mainly being used in Time-of-Flight (ToF), and Laser Range Finding (LRF) systems, the 1550 nm solution will improve the transmission through rain, fog, snow, and other harsh weather for Defense & Aerospace, and automotive LiDAR applications. Additionally, the added benefit of using the higher wavelength of 1550 nm improves eye safety compared to 905 nm lasers.
For customers considering upgrading from commercial-grade PLDs to higher-resolution, the 1550UA Series is a cost-effective solution. It is capable of operating at -45 to 85°C, to withstand the difficult conditions of various environments. Available in a TO-56 package with multiple sources sizes, the 1550UA Series can also be customized to meet the needs of each area of use.

FLEXPOINT® laser modules ILM12F and ILM12IP for Industrial Applications
Quick and Easy Integration: Laser Modules with M12 thread:
The FLEXPOINT® laser modules ILM12F and ILM12IP from LASER COMPONENTS are two robust positioning lasers that have been specially developed for industrial applications. Their robust stainless-steel housings are equipped with M12 threads so that they can be quickly and easily integrated into any type of machine.
Both modules are available with spot, line and cross beam profiles at wavelengths of 635 nm (bright red) or 520 nm (green). They are suitable for positioning workpieces or labels, precisely aligning machine components or marking cut edges and weld seams. The FLEXPOINT® ILM12F module can also be focused so that the position mark can be adapted to different working distances. Additional laser safety equipment is not required, as both modules can be factory-set to laser safety class 1 or 2.
Robust - Even in Outdoor Use
While the ILM12F series has an IP54 protection class, the ILM12IP version offers even more protection. Neither dust nor water penetrates its IP67-certified housing, making it the perfect choice for outdoor use or applications with particularly harsh conditions such as warehouses, CNC machines and in the wood industry.
Their respective features allow the ILM12 series FLEXPOINT® modules to be used in almost any industrial environment – from the metal, wood or textile industry to outdoor use on construction sites or outdoor facilities.

Simplify LiDAR Design with PLD Arrays
The 905 nm Arrays Offer Multi-Junction Power, Reaching Over 115 Watts Per Element:
The 905 Array Series of Multi-Junction Pulsed Laser Diodes (PLDs) are available with 2, 4, 8, 16, and 32 elements to achieve various power levels. The multi-junction solution can reach a peak power of up to 115 W per element. The small design footprint enables better heat dissipation, resistance to physical wear, while still remaining energy efficient.
The compact design of the 905 Array Series allows for each 115 W PLD element to utilize three epitaxially integrated emitters, that each form 235 x 10 µm active areas. An 80 W PLD element option is available with 160 x 10 µm active areas, while the 40 W model is also available and features an active area of 85 x 10 µm across each element.
The 905 Array Series from LASER COMPONENTS can be used to simplify the design of compact LiDAR safety applications such as, automotive Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), Laser Range Finding (LRF), and laser safety curtains. For Defense & Aerospace, near infrared (NIR) illuminators can help with detection in low-light conditions to avoid obstacles using Flash LiDAR. This same solution can be implemented in more industrial environments to keep employees safe on a factory floor to prevent collision from automated robots.

Autoclavable Optical Coatings
No Negative Impact from Humidity, Temperature and Vacuum During Disinfection:
LASER COMPONENTS is proud to announce yet another product for medical technology: laser optics with coatings that withstand countless sterilization cycles in an autoclave over the long term. To this end, the company worked with universities and other companies to develop a special coating process. Only a few manufacturers in the world are capable of producing this type of optics.
Disinfection in an autoclave is a widely used sterilization process in medical practices and hospitals. In order to kill microorganisms, medical instruments and laboratory utensils are exposed to a combination of high pressure, high temperatures and moisture in a pressure-tight vessel. These extreme environmental conditions cause conventional coatings to crack or detach from the substrate. Their optical properties quickly deteriorate, which can result in disturbing double images. Therefore, the optics would have to be replaced very often.
As part of the STAR (Stable Anti-Reflective Coatings for Medical Technology) research project, LASER COMPONENTS and other participants have developed a process for resistant coatings. Measurements show that the original reflectivity is retained even after several hundred autoclave cycles.

The IG26H Series Offers High Shunt Resistance to Enhance Spectroscopy
Enable Reverse Bias Applications with Extended InGaAs IR Detectors:
The IG26H Series is a new addition to the existing line of high-quality IG26 extended InGaAs infrared (IR) PIN photodiodes. The IG26H Series offers low dark current under reverse bias condition, with excellent thermal performance, reducing the need for cooling solutions.
The high shunt resistance of the IG26H Series is paired with high responsivity over a wide spectrum. With a peak responsivity of 1.45 A/W, the IG26H Series detectors offer increased sensitivity measurements in spectroscopic and radiometric applications. The IG26H Series also features a 50% cut-off wavelength exceeding 2.45 µm.
TE1 and TE2 packages are available for customers that require thermoelectric cooling, as well as an uncooled TO-can version. The IG26H can meet the demands of spectrophotometry, diode laser monitoring, flame control, and gas detection.
