CICADA: The 1.3 Mpix SWIR Snapshot Multispectral Filter Array Camera
SILIOS Technologies, a French based high-tech company (located in Provence - south of France), specialized in the micro-optical technologies, is pleased to present its last products for the SWIR domain, The CICADA, a 1.3 Mpix 9 bands SWIR Multispectral camera covering the range 1100nm-1700nm. During the past years SILIOS Technologies developed the COLOR SHADES® technology, allowing manufacturing multi-spectral pixelated filters for the visible and near IR domain. Each sub-cell of these filters can be sized at a scale of less than five microns. With the CICADA, SILIOS Technologies increases its portfolio which included already the CMS series (CMS-C, CMS-V and CM-S - 1.3 Mpx multi-spectral cameras, the CMS4 series (CMS4-C, CMS4-V and CMS4-S - 4.2 Mpix multispectral cameras), the TOUCAN (4.2 Mpix wideband (430nm-870nm) multispectral camera and the ANT VGA SWIR multispectral camera, presented at DCS 2023 . Now, also based also on COLOR SHADES® technology, SILIOS Technologies showcases at DCS 2024 in National Harbor, the CICADA, its new SXGA SWIR snapshot Multispectral camera. The characteristic of the CICADA multispectral camera are: 9 bands covering the range 1,1 µm – 1,7 µm, organized in a Bayer like mosaic and hybridized on a 1.3 Mpix InGaAs SONY detector offering a spatial resolution of 427x341 pixels per channel. The CICADA is oriented towards Space applications and waste sorting, buildings structures analysis, Agrofood industry, Pharmacy industry for the commercial applications. Aside of the CICADA, SILIOS will still exhibit its ANT and its unrivaled TOUCAN Multispectral camera: It is the only VIS+NIR snapshot multispectral camera with a Bayer like mosaic filter currently available on the market which is able to cover such a wide spectral range (430nm – 870nm). In a addition to these off-the-shelf products, SILIOS Technologies can offer the development of specific multispectral sensors and cameras adapted to the customer exact needs. In particular, the customer can choose the commercial sensor (CMOS or InGaAs) adapted to its application (snapshot or push broom mode, resolution, sensitivity, …), the number of bands (2 to 16), the centering of the bands, etc…
