Vortex have moved to bigger premises in the last 6 months. This represents a major step in confidence for the future of the business. Ian Reilly Managing Director of Vortex elaborated saying ' Vortex has seen strong growth in recent years, partly due to Photonics growing worldwide, but also due to an ever increasing list of applications where infra-red filters are the key to solving problems. These areas include gas analysis, the food industry in terms of security, production and quality, plastics separation, industrial process monitoring and medical to name a few. Our new premises represent a tripling of floor space and acquisition of land for potentially further expansion. We plan to continue to increase our offering, particularly in IR filters and enhanced visible coatings and we will be making further investments in new coating plant and support equipment to make all of this possible.'
