I made my first steps into research when I was a student. At that time, I did not imagine myself as a future scientist. However, my interest in science grew as I met amazing people who inspired and encouraged me.
I work in one of the hottest fields of science right now—biomedical photonics—specializing in non-invasive medical diagnostics in microhemodynamics. More recently, I have become interested in developing wearable sensors for blood flow monitoring.
The most complicated challenge in my career was the preparation and defense of my PhD thesis. It was a busy time filled with hard work, and I would like to thank my family for the incredible support.
It is impossible to find a person who is an expert in all fields of expertise. So do not give up if you think that you do not know anything, because this is an occasion to learn something new! Be creative in the nonstandard application of your skills.
As in any career, you will face difficulties. Perceive difficulties not as an insurmountable obstacle, but as a fascinating challenge, consisting of many tasks. Gradually solving small problems, you will achieve the big desired goal.
Try to surround yourself with bright, positive, inspiring people. Such an environment will motivate you to success.
