Ewa Goldys is SHARP Professor at the Graduate School of Biomedical Engineering at the University of New South Wales and deputy director of the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence in Nanoscale Biophotonics. Internationally renowned for the development and clinical application of advanced fluorescence techniques, her research focuses on ultrasensitive optical characterization in the life sciences, label-free noninvasive high-content cellular imaging, and theranostics. She discusses clinical perspectives on the interface of radiation-optical interactions and nanotechnology.
