Founder and CEO of Pericycle Inc., a Greater Tampa Bay Area based digital health startup. Pericycle Inc. was born from chronic conditions requiring advanced sensing to generate novel biomarkers for guiding rapid clinical decisions. Experience includes fund-raising, designing, leading and implementing hardware and software initiatives in several consumer wellness and healthcare domains. Collaborated with and managed over 75 engineering team members (electrical, mechanical, firmware, software, quality, product verification and validation, reliability, plastics, cloud computing, industrial design, component and tooling) across 20+ consumer and healthcare device projects valued at $23.8 MM in total in well-regulated ISO 9001 certified facilities in US and China. Examples of leading and realizing past commercially viable healthcare innovations include wireless MRI RF coils, Ultra-wide-band Doppler Radar system for blood pressure monitoring, wearable sleep monitoring devices and pocket-sized bioelectrical impedance analyzers for body composition, Machine Learning/AI for improving accuracy in optical pH and Ammonia monitoring in hemodialysis, and wearable devices (smart watches, patches and rings) for monitoring activity, ECG, oximetry, temperature and blood pressure.
