Dr. Du Le is an Assistant Professor at UAH’s Department of Physics and Astronomy. Before UAH, He was a postdoctoral fellow at Florida International University Biomedical Engineering and at UC Davis Biomedical Engineering, and a medical oncology physics resident at Juravinski Cancer Centre (Canada). Dr. Le received a PhD degree in Medical Physics from McMaster University, a MSc. and BSc. in Biomedical Engineering from the Catholic University of America.
Dr. Le's research laboratory at UAH focuses on developing and evaluating optical tools, primarily time-resolved optical spectroscopy and microscopy, for clinical application including but not limited to cancer detection, blood flow, and cardiovascular diseases.
