Modular ultrasound for flexible longitudinal patient monitoring: feasibility study

Abstract

In this presentation, we present a modular ultrasound (MODUS) framework, allowing clinicians to have an ultrasound array in arbitrary aperture size and on flexible surface curvatures, which can maintain effectiveness regardless of patient age and physical condition.

Ananya Tandri is a PhD candidate in biomedical engineering at Johns Hopkins University. She received her undergraduate degrees in 2022 in biomedical engineering and mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Ananya's specialization is in Photoacoustic and Ultrasound imaging, particularly the design and implementation of novel form factors for specific clinical applications.
