My greatest inspiration was Daheng Wang, an Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences in Applied Optics, who said, "Light Changes the World."

In earlier days, I worked as physics professor, frontier researcher, and senior engineer in optics. My current job includes teaching, research and administration duties. My current research area is high resolution image theory, optical system design, computing optics, micro-nano devise design
and its application, application of polarization optics and optical metrology for lithography, micro-nano technology and prospective application area.

Time runs out fast as there are so many interesting problems that need to be solved. It is hard to balance family and work, research, teaching and administration duties.

Make a long-term plan and be patient.
