A typical work day
My position entails doing many different activities throughout the week. I spend most of my time in the lab working to develop new materials and products. However, a significant amount of my time is also spent on modeling the optical properties of new and existing products and on writing proposals, internal and external progress reports, and intellectual property-related documents.

What I enjoy most
My favorite part of my job is that I am constantly learning new things. I pursued a career in science because I wanted to be intellectually challenged on a day-to-day basis.
