New PLUTO-2.1 SLM Version for SWIR Wavelength
Based on customer requests and feedback, HOLOEYE developed a new version of the PLUTO-2.1 Spatial Light Modulator optimized for 1700 - 2500 nm (Short Wavelength Infrared). The PLUTO-2.1-SWIR-157 offers a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels and 8µm pixel pitch. The PLUTO-2.1 LCOS SLM is the all-rounder within HOLOEYE's product range. It is the best qualified and diversified SLM platform with currently 13 versions optimized for specific requirements. The PLUTO is one of the most widely-used SLMs in scientific R&D and is already implemented in different industrial applications. New broadband version of analog ERIS Spatial Light Modulator
The new ERIS-NIR-153 Spatial Light Modulator version is optimized to cover a broad wavelength range from 420 nm up to 1100 nm. This offers highest flexibility of use across different projects and applications. The ERIS SLM plattform delivers extreme phase stability, low latency, and low crosstalk. The SLM is based on an 0.717″ LCOS-microdisplay with a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels and 8µm pixel pitch. ERIS Spatial Light Modulator Firmware Update Enables Real 120 Hz Mode
An updated driver firmware for the ERIS Spatial Light Modulator offers a real 120 Hz operation mode. Compared to the method using 2 color channels sequentially to achieve frame rates above 60 Hz which still limits the input to 60 Hz, the refresh rates for both, input frames via the HDMI graphics interface and the output on the phase SLM display are boosted to 120 Hz. The driver enhancement further reduces the latency of the already fast and responsive ERIS SLM. Switching between standard 60 Hz and 120 Hz mode can simply be done by configuring the HDMI graphics adapter to the relevant frame rate or by selecting the mode directly within the HOLOEYE SLM Software. GAEA-2 Driver Update Enables Color Field Sequential Mode
An updated firmware for the GAEA-2 Spatial Light Modulator enables the use in Color Field Sequential (CFS) phase modulation mode. The updated driver enbables addressing of 3 x 8 bit within a frame (180 Hz). The SLMs also feature an RGB light source sync connector for use with RGB color-switchable laser sources. The GAEA-2 Spatial Light Modulator offers the highest resolution (4160 x 2464 pixel) on the market with extremely small pixel pitch of 3.74µm. A preliminary demo of GAEA-2.1 SLM in color mode can be seen at the HOLOEYE BIOS booth #8652. The updated driver will be availalbe end of Q1, 2024. A display version optimized for fast color sequential operation will be availalbe by second half of 2024. HOLOEYE SLM Display SDK offers Simultaneous Operation of Multiple SLMs
HOLOEYE provides standard Spatial Light Modulator software solutions for convenient operation and generation of optical functions with each SLM. The HOLOEYE SLM Display SDK is a powerful tool to address a phase SLM within different programming environments. With version 4.0 the SDK supports usage of multiple SLMs at the same time and tiling of the display surface to different areas: - Simultaneous operation of multiple Spatial Light Modulators. - Multi canvas support: Addressing different functions/content on tiled SLM display area independently. New Standard Diffractive Optical Elements
HOLOEYE introduces 10 new of off-the-shelf standard glass diffractive optical elements. These stock elements are made of Fused Silica glass by etching and feature an anti-reflective (AR) coating on the rear side of the glass substrate. The DOEs are optimized for a wavelength around 450 nm. The DOEs have a size of 5 mm x 5.75 mm with a thickness of 0.725 mm.
